Ann L. Johnson Scholar Program
at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital
The Ann L. Johnson Scholar Program supports education and development of entry level registered nurses in the LPCH Versant RN Residency Program. The distinguishing components of the scholar residency will include experiences intended to provide additional foundation knowledge around leadership, quality improvement, and evidence-based clinical practice beyond the typical Versant residency experience. The program will expose the selected leadership scholars to activities including but not limited to:
- Attending leadership/professional development courses/conferences
- Looping activities with LPCH leadership and operation personnel
- Participating in unit or organizational quality nursing initiative projects
- Exposure to nursing research activities
