Review of our SHC New Graduate RN Residency Program application process

To apply for the SHC New Graduate RN Residency Program, you must submit a completed application. You must complete steps (1-3) of this process to be considered for the program:
Steps
1) Complete an online application.
- Create an account (if you have not previously created one).
- Create your online profile (if you have not previously created one). Creating a profile will allow you to easily update and reuse it to apply for additional jobs without re-entering your information each time.
- Search for the SHC New Graduate RN Residency Program under the careers tab.
- Submit your application. After clicking the “Submit” button, you will be prompted to attach your three reference letters, resume and transcripts.
2) Submit ALL required documentation for the SHC New Graduate RN Residency Program, as follows:
- Completed application including all questions/fields attached to the application.
- 3 School of Nursing clinical faculty instructor references, (If a preceptor letter is submitted, the preceptor must also be a clinical faculty instructor). The signature area must include their School of Nursing faculty position. NOTE: Reference letter documents should be on school letterhead and less than 1 MB in size.
- Resume to include number of clinical hours and location/placement for rotations and senior capstone/preceptorship.
- Most recent transcripts.
Applications without all the required documentation will not be considered.
3) Once you have completed your application, you will need to fill out an online assessment. This is required to be considered for the program. You will be given instructions on this immediately after you have submitted your application.
Please note that the Talent Acquisition Department is closed from December 26, 2011 through January 2, 2012. Any inquiries received during this period will be attended to on/after January 3, 2012.
